ServiceMaster Green of Des Moines was awarded certification in July 2008 by Green Seal, a nonprofit organization dedicated to safeguarding the environment and transforming the marketplace by promoting the manufacture, purchase and use of environmentally responsible products and services. ServiceMaster Green’s successful completion of GS-42 certification — the environmental gold standard for cleaning services — further demonstrates our company’s commitment to serving our customers and protecting the environment in ways none of our competitors can match. The vast majority of companies that apply for GS-42 certification are denied because they cannot meet Green Seal’s demanding standards for excellence.

Green Seal certification requires a rigorous application and review process, which includes an on-site inspection by an independent auditor who assesses whether all the procedures and products a contract cleaning service uses comply with the Green Seal standards. When ServiceMaster Green passed the inspection and was granted Green Seal certification for one of the R&R Realty buildings we clean in West Des Moines, we joined a select group.
